Luminari Care at the Malawi National Youth Summit 2026
"Learning and discovery to meaningful connections and new possibilities
Represented by our CEO, Luminari Care had the opportunity to be part of a platform that brought together young leaders, organizations, innovators, and changemakers from across Malawi. The summit created space for young people to share ideas, exchange experiences, build relationships, and explore ways of creating meaningful change in their communities.
Day One: Beginning the Journey
The first day marked the beginning of an inspiring journey. It was a day filled with learning, meaningful conversations, new connections, and opportunities to engage with young leaders and changemakers from different backgrounds and sectors. For Luminari Care, being part of the summit was an opportunity to listen, learn, and gain new perspectives on the issues affecting young people and communities across Malawi. As an organization passionate about mental health, youth development, and community wellbeing, we were excited to begin a journey that would bring new ideas, relationships, and opportunities for collaboration.
Day Two: Building Connections
Day Two brought even more opportunities for meaningful engagement. Our CEO connected with remarkable individuals working across different sectors, including Chief Examiner at the Reserve Bank of Malawi, alongside other youth-focused organizations and changemakers. These conversations highlighted the importance of collaboration and creating spaces where young people can be heard, supported, empowered, and given opportunities to thrive. For Luminari Care, every connection represented more than simply meeting someone new. It was an opportunity to exchange ideas, understand different perspectives, and explore possibilities for partnerships that can contribute to healthier and more empowered communities.
Day Three: Growing the Network
The third day continued the journey of learning and connection. Our CEO had the opportunity to engage with inspiring individuals and organizations, including Director of the Malawi Archaeology and Heritage Society, and many other young people and changemakers. One of the most valuable aspects of the summit was the opportunity to connect with people working in different sectors and to discover how diverse ideas and experiences can come together to create meaningful change. These interactions reminded us that addressing the challenges facing young people requires collective action, collaboration, and a willingness to learn from one another.
As Luminari Care continues its work in mental health, youth empowerment, and community wellbeing, we are grateful for the people we met, the lessons we gained, and the relationships we began building during the summit.
Care Today. Change Tomorrow.
